From your age, sex, height and weight, how active your day is, your lifting and any other sport you train, and your goal. Protein is set per kilogram of body weight and goes up if you train a lot. Each week Indar compares your weigh-ins with what you ate and adjusts if your weight isn't moving the way your goal needs. Every change, and why, is listed on the Progress tab.

Tap any item to change the amount, or use Fix to say what's different ("it was two eggs, not three"). Describing a meal with amounts ("200 g chicken, a cup of rice") gives the most accurate result. Indar remembers your usual portions.

Go to Settings, Update my plan. You'll answer only the questions that can change, and your history stays. The program is rebuilt only if your goal, experience, days, session length or equipment changed.

Nothing is marked as missed. The session is offered again on your next free day that week, and after a break of two weeks or more the weights start a little lighter so you can build back up.

Yes, apart from AI estimates and barcode lookups. If you photograph or describe a meal without a connection, save it for later and Indar works it out when you're back online.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, Profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. In Indar, Settings has shortcuts to manage and to restore purchases on a new phone.

They're stored on your phone. When you log a meal by photo, a resized copy goes to our server and to Anthropic's Claude to estimate it, only after you've allowed AI food recognition. We don't keep it. Details are in the privacy policy.

Settings, Export your data, gives you spreadsheet files. Settings, Delete all data, erases everything. See Delete your data.
