Delete your data
Indar keeps your data on your phone, and in a private copy on our server if you created an account. One action removes it all.
In the app
- Open Indar and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete all data, then Delete everything.
This erases your meals, photos, workouts, weights, targets, notes and settings from your phone, and deletes your account (or anonymous ID), its private copy and photos, and its daily usage counts from our server. It can't be undone, so export your data first if you want a copy.
If you no longer have the app
If you created an account, install Indar, choose Restore from a backup, sign in, then use Delete all data in Settings. Or email support@indar.app from your account's email address (or with your support ID) and we'll delete the account and everything saved with it within 30 days.
Without an account, your data was on your phone and went with it. Our server only held an anonymous ID with daily usage counts, which are removed automatically after 90 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your data doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
What isn't deleted
- Shared dish pictures, which contain no personal information.
- Usage events and crash reports, which aren't linked to you and are deleted within 12 months.
- Purchase records Apple, Google and RevenueCat must keep for tax and accounting.
